Slammo is an action packed 2-on-2 game that is similar to volleyball, but with a smaller ball and a circular net. The rules are similar to volleyball where each team has 3 hits to spike the ball into the ankle high circular net. Teams volley back and forth until a team is unable to return the ball to the net. The first team to 21 points win. We engineered an improved design over the competition that provides 100% net coverage and eliminates the hated ‘pocket shot’. The Slammo Set includes two competition size 9cm balls and also one 12cm training ball for beginners or younger players. The game can be quickly assembled and it fits neatly into the included backpack style carrying case. The game is a great workout and much easier to setup than full size volleyball. Great Product for Everyone!
Slammo is definitely worth your time and money! It is exactly how you would expect it to be: fun, original, and fast paced. I did not believe the hype was warranted but, believe me ladies and gentleman, it definitely is. Whether you buy a Spikeball set (its competitor) or a Slammo set, we can both agree that the basic concept for both games is intriguing, to say the least. For those of you who may not know the specifics of the game, it is similar to volleyball, but instead of hitting over a net, you are hitting down on a miniature trampoline net. It is played 2 on 2, with both teams constantly moving and hovering around the net. That being said, you are safe in assuming that Slammo is enjoyed by people who enjoy staying active! First and foremost, despite being named an off brand to Spikeball, the Slammo set arrived in great condition. The net and rim were fully intact, and it came with three slam balls of different sizes. This will give you the option of whether you want to play a fast paced game (small ball) or a slow paced game (big ball). As you may know, Slammo is, essentially, the same game as Spikeball; however, Slammo is 10 dollars cheaper which puts the product at only 40 dollars, making this product more affordable for everyone! I would like to stress to you guys that this is a very safe game to play, creating a fun environment for all ages. In addition, you should not worry if you are new to this game. Slammo is still up and coming; therefore, you will likely find other people to play with that share the same skill set as yourself. Slammo is most popularly played on a beach, but you can play the game anywhere where there is soft ground. With that said you can fold the Slammo set and put it in a bag, making it a prime traveling product for you! You can take this to your work and play on your breaks, or you could even just head to the local park if the beach is out of reach to you. All in all, I personally think this product would be a great buy for anyone who enjoys living a dynamic lifestyle. On top of that, it is a very convenient game that can be adjusted for people of all ages and skill sets. If you are looking for a real bang for your buck, then Slammo is definitely worth the buy for you!

Fun game
I purchased this game for my family, and while it is a fun game and easy to learn, the net doesn’t hold as tight as it should to enable the ball to bounce high. All-in-all, it is an enjoyable addition to our family game nights, and I would recommend it.

Slammo or SPIKE BALL ???
I was originally introduced to this game with the “spike ball” brand name. I had a blast playing with friends and so I began looking into buying my own set. I went with Slammo because of the price and it seemed to be a solid “knock off”. I believe that spike ball is probably a higher quality product but Slammo is also a high quality and great product and played just as well in my opinion.Here are some differences I noticed having played both sets.***Slammo has removable net anchors where spike ball has the anchors built right onto the black frame (this might initially take a little more time to set up with Slammo because you need to spread them out evenly on the black frame in order to put the net on correctly. However, once we began playing I did not notice a difference in how the ball responded to the net.)***Slammo does not have a locking mechanism when you insert the black poles into the green legs, where with spike ball when you insert the frame into the legs it sort of clicks or locks into place (I personally preferred the Slammo set in this regard because it was quicker and smoother to set up and once the net is on, that force of the net pulling on the frame would prevent separation anyways…)***Slammo green balls feel a bit thinner and bouncier than than the thicker spike ball yellow balls. (This is probably a personal preference but I think I prefer the spike ball balls. They were a bit more predictable than the very bouncy slammo balls. However, the Slammo balls still worked fine.(also the Slammo kit comes with a slightly larger training ball which would probably help beginners play the game.)All in all this is a great purchase if you like the game but want to save $20 compared to spike ball. There is nothing that would prevent me from giving this 5 stars and buying it again.To sum up the comparison, having played both I do think that spike ball is a slightly superior product due to the thicker balls and slightly more rigid frame. Plus the spike ball brand has a big following so if you want to make sure you “look cool” maybe spike ball is for you? With that being said I am glad I went with Slammo and gave it a 5 star rating because I saved $20 dollars and it is a great high quality comparable product.I bet most people would not be able to distinguish the two different sets besides the color.

Really an excellent game. Easy to assemble and extremely fun to play. Plus foe the price, itâs hard to justify spending more on spikeball, the only reason spikeball is more from what I can understand is the name brand. This set of identical in every way, with the only difference being price and colours lol. Really canât speak highly enough of the game, (from a value sense and from it being super fun!) highly reccomend.
