   Ethereal music, easy to use, toddler friendly
   The absolutely love the different music and sounds. You can play through this. They sound extremely lifelike. From the rain to the course of morning bird sounds. there’s also a gorgeous music you can play for waking up called ambient sunrise or something like that that comes with a dramatic yellow color mimicking a lovely sunrise and this soft, peaceful synthesizer music that’s perfect for waking up. My toddler has already learned how to use this hatch to turn it on and turn it off. And we really appreciate how simple it is to use but also sturdy and it just works. It’s easy to install and easy to connect to with your phone. I’m excited for him to keep using this as he grows older and changing up the music. We just love this little device.

   Excellent product!
   I bought this recently when moving my toddler to a big kid bed and have a whole nighttime and wake up routine setup, including she has to stay in her room until the light turns green at 6:45. It’s really helped with the transition and I love the sound choices and colors to pick from. The app is so easy to use and helps me update the routine as needed. And it looks nice! Highly recommend this product and suggest buying it for the newborn phase since the white noise options are so good.

   Toddler sleep level unlocked!
   My husband and I love the 2nd Generation Rest! We actually also have the first generation and are very impressed with the upgrades. Not only there’s a sleeker design with a cleaner touch ring but we’re also able to turn on the clock during daylight hours to help with our toddler’s nap and sleep routines. The Hatch App lets us control all these steps so we don’t have to touch the machine. It’s so nice to not worry about when we’re focused on getting our kid out of the bath, and into bed every evening. Our daughter loves the blue light and her sleep has improved over the last week we’ve had this hatch. The rain sound is more realistic than the previous one. Additionally, we can control the volume and light anywhere in our house so when it’s truly lights out and she’s asleep I am able to dim the light from another room which is probably my most used feature. The Hatch+ subscription looks to have even more settings I could unlock like sleep stories and more sounds that we will likely take advantage of as our daughter gets older. Hatch has really put a lot of work and effort into making the experience for customers really customizable and I don’t know what we would do without it in our lives. Thank you, Hatch!

   Overrated…
   I had my first daughter 1 year ago. At the time I didn’t want to splurge on the Hatch baby. We decided to go for a cheaper machine that we got at Walmart. We are expecting baby number 2, and I decided to go ahead and get the Hatch baby since they will not be sharing a room. I think this is just a case of good marketing. If you are not connected to the app then the sound machine is rendered useless. I had connected the machine and used it for 2 days. Then I was putting my daughter down for a nap and tried to connect and it was not working. I tried resetting it, unplugging it, I could not get it to work in time for nap time. Thankfully I have my trusty Walmart sound machine that you just plug in and go. It has different colored lights on top, a night light that adjusts just by tapping it, and various sound options. This device is cool and gimmicky, but completely unnecessary and unreliable. Don’t feel like you need it or are missing out if you don’t have it. I gave 4 stars because I don’t want to be rude and lower it’s rating.

   Changing all the lights and volume on my phone
   At first we had the fish machine that played music and my son loved it, but I didn’t like the fact that it was so loud. So my mother-in-law sent me this link, and I absolutely love it being able to control it, having the music volume and how bright the colors are. My son immediately fell asleep, even with his teeth hurting him. Hands down the best product. It is definitely a sturdy product too, it doesnt feel cheap or look cheap. The only thing is that you have to pay for a subscription of 4.99$ a month which isn’t bad, just wish it was free but everyone loves free stuff.

   Great for Babies and Toddlers!
   Amazing all in one sound machine and night light! Really easy to use via the app on your phone or by pushing the buttons on the device itself. Great for our toddler who can click through the sounds himself and pick what he wants to hear. Also great for newborns/babies – the volume can get nice and loud to drown out other noises and I am certain it has led to longer naps. Great product and worth the price!

   works PERFECTLY for a sleep timer! the brightness is adjustable, the sound is adjustable, it’s worth every penny. you can easily adjust which mode you’re in by tapping the top or you can use the app. love it.

   Great for toddlers to learn when to wake
   I love the size and ease of use. The app has some great features like creating a schedule of lights and sounds and using the built in music for wind down time. My son likes to touch the ring before bed to turn out his own light. I only wish it would get a little bit brighter so that I could use it for reading before bed without needing to be right next to it. It’s very high quality, but also expensive if you only plan to use as an ok-to-wake clock.

   I went through 2 cheaper machines until i finally invested in the Hatch and it was well worth it. It’s easy to use and looks cute. No issues and ive had mine for 3 yrs. There was once an issue with the cord however I contacted Hatch and they instantly sent me a new one. I love the different colours, the different sounds, volume intensity etc – and best of all you can turn it on and off with your phone. A must have with a baby and a gift I love giving as a baby shower gift.
