You need to get one of these
This is the best thing I ever bought. It vacuums and mops. You have to download the app to use most fuctions. Although the listing says does not work on 5g this vacuum actually DOES work on 5g. To make it work you have to pause the 5g so it drops down to 2.4. You do this in your modem settings. Then you have to forget your wifi in your phones wifi setting and reconnect this will put you on 2.4 which the vacuum needs to connect. Once that is done you have to turn your Bluetooth on then open the app and press both buttons on the vacuum for 3 seconds to connect the app to the vacuum. You will here a voice says connected to the internet when you’ve done it right. You only have to do this once to connect the vacuum to the app. You have to do this in about 10 minutes because your wifi will automatically revert back to 5g. Then tell it to sweep from the app. When you first start it up it maps the entire floor of the house with lidar before it does anything else. The one picture is the map of my entire 1st floor. The 2nd map is the same map after editing, naming my rooms and customizing the settings for each room. It also shows what rooms it is cleaning and where the robot is at any given time. The build and functionality are are why I bought it in addition to not having to vacuum and mop myself. I have a bad back and less broom and mop pushing works for me. It has lower noise level than a regular vacuum and I can run it at night while I am sleeping. I don’t use it on big spills just to keep the floor clean for the most part. It really does not run into things like other robot vacuums. It works quite well for my needs. The app takes time to get used to as there are no directions on its use. There are only set up directions for the vacuum itself. They also send out updates to the app and possibly to vacuum also as I have seen a check for update in the vacuum setting. I am still trying to figure out the update and what the change was and I’m pretty tech savvy. I have figured out most of it and it does what I need it to do. You basically tell the app what to do and it does it. I can tell it to do whole floor or just one room also you can set to mop and vac or just vac. My carpeted areas are set to just vacuum while my hardwood and kitchen floors are mop and vac. I just turn it on let it do it’s thing and go out. Sometimes I forget to start it before I go out. So I just go to the app and program it remotely to do it’s job from anywhere I am at. I have a dog and it does a good job of picking up loose hair. They only thing you really need to be proactive about are loose cords on the floor (For the loose cords it put no go zone up) also make sure you put any shoelaces out of reach of the vacuum. They will get tangled in the side brush. If it does it will talk to you and tell you. If you don’t remove the jam it will turn itself off. Also you can not use traditional floor cleaners in the water tank. I highly recommend this product.

I’m very happy with this purchase. I read the reviews that indicated they wished for a smaller bin – but I have found (after a week of use) that using this vacuum daily (especially with dogs) has gotten to where it’s barely filling the bin – AND the floors rarely need a sweep afterwards. The negative I have is the voice is a little difficult to understand with some of her phrases but she gets the job done well. Also thanks to the merchant for sending a few messages with help to ensure a great set up.Note: I have not used the mopping feature – and not sure I really want to either honestly.

Lean mean cleaning machine
I bought this one for upstairs. I have the self emptying model of this same brand downstairs. This is a great machine, easy to clean. It vacuums and mops well. I vacuumed with a regular vacuum and then ran this and I could not believe how much it picked up. It’s worth every penny.

Better than the big brands
I had a very expensive robot vacuum. This works way better. It mapped out the whole house in under an hour. The app is easy to use. I am so impressed with this for the price. I haven’t tried the mop setting yet, but I really just needed the vacuum.

So far it has been good.
The set up was easy and the mapping function is very good. It is possible to partition and name separate rooms and to set up several different ‘no go’ or restricted areas (unlike my older model where only one ‘no go zone was allowed. You can also set up several different starting times and area options (I set it up to clean around my main entry way every day, but only do the whole house MWF. It cleans most of my 3000 sq ft house in about 100 minutes and then only takes about 2 hours to recharge and to finish.I was having some doubts about its suction ability as it seemed to miss particles on the floor. I finally picked up the unit and looked at it with the dust bin removed. The suction port was almost fully blocked with hair/lint. Once that was removed, it did well. With the LIDAR it maps well and intelligently cleans. It does not seem to bump into things. For the price it seems hard to beat.

Works great!
Love love love this, but dust bin is small. Please increase the size of dust bin, other than that, perfection. I do have cats so if you clean regularly may not be an issue.

Best thing going on Deal days
Sorry I haven’t had a picture of it but the one I bought a year ago versus what I bought this year for the same amount of money is amazing. I love that now after having one and didn’t do anything but have me babysit it. To have one that I can run from the office map out my house turn it on and off and I haven’t even tried the mopping feature but I can trust that it’s not going to mop the rug. Go out and get yourself one this model kicks ask for the price! Definitely worth the money

In the quest for a spotless home with minimal effort, robot vacuums have become indispensable. The BPMIO Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo, with its 4500pa strong suction and self-charging capabilities, promises to be a powerful ally in maintaining cleanliness. After using it extensively, hereâs my detailed and balanced review.Design and Build QualityThe BPMIO Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo boasts a sleek and modern design that fits seamlessly into any home decor. The black finish gives it a sophisticated look, while the compact and low-profile design allows it to navigate under furniture with ease. The build quality is robust, with durable materials that suggest longevity. The vacuum features a user-friendly interface with touch controls on the top, making it easy to start, stop, and schedule cleaning sessions. The dustbin and water tank are easy to remove and clean, which is a significant plus for maintenance.Suction Power and Cleaning PerformanceOne of the standout features of this robot vacuum is its 4500pa strong suction power. This level of suction is impressive and ensures that the vacuum picks up everything from fine dust to larger debris. During my testing, it handled pet hair, crumbs, and dirt on both carpets and hard floors with ease. The mop function is a welcome addition, especially for homes with hard flooring. The water tank is easy to fill, and the mop attachment is simple to install. The vacuum does a decent job of mopping, although itâs more suited for light cleaning rather than deep scrubbing. Itâs perfect for maintaining a clean floor between more thorough mopping sessions.Navigation and MappingThe BPMIO Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo uses advanced navigation and mapping technology to clean efficiently. It creates a map of your home, which you can view and customize through the accompanying app. This feature allows you to set no-go zones and specific cleaning areas, ensuring that the vacuum only cleans where you want it to.The vacuum navigates around obstacles with ease and rarely gets stuck. It can transition smoothly between different floor types and climb over low thresholds without any issues. The smart mapping ensures that it covers the entire floor space methodically, rather than moving randomly.Battery Life and Self-ChargingBattery life is another strong point for this robot vacuum. With a maximum runtime of 145 minutes, it can clean large areas on a single charge. In my experience, it managed to clean my entire apartment without needing to recharge. When the battery runs low, the vacuum automatically returns to its charging dock. This self-charging feature is incredibly convenient, as it ensures that the vacuum is always ready for the next cleaning session. The charging dock is compact and doesnât take up much space, making it easy to place in a corner or against a wall.App and Smart FeaturesThe BPMIO Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo comes with a companion app that enhances its functionality. The app is intuitive and easy to use, allowing you to schedule cleaning sessions, view cleaning maps, and adjust settings. It also supports voice control through Alexa and Google Assistant, adding an extra layer of convenience. One of the standout features of the app is the ability to customize cleaning zones. You can draw virtual boundaries and specify areas that need more attention. This level of control is particularly useful for homes with complex layouts or specific cleaning needs.Noise LevelWhile no vacuum is completely silent, the BPMIO Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo operates at a relatively low noise level. Itâs quiet enough to run while youâre at home without being too disruptive. On the highest suction setting, the noise level increases, but itâs still manageable and quieter than many traditional vacuums.Value for MoneyConsidering its features and performance, the BPMIO Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo offers excellent value for money. It is competitively priced compared to other high-end robot vacuums on the market, and its combination of strong suction, smart features, and long battery life make it a worthwhile investment. The added convenience of the mop function and the ability to customize cleaning zones further enhance its value. While it may not replace a traditional mop for deep cleaning, itâs perfect for maintaining a clean home with minimal effort.ConclusionThe BPMIO Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo is a powerful and versatile cleaning solution that lives up to its promises. Its strong suction power, efficient navigation, and smart features make it a standout choice in the market. While the mop function could be improved for more thorough cleaning, its overall performance and value for money make it a worthwhile investment for any homeowner.

Iâve had many robot vacuums over the years, but impressed at the level of technology that comes in this robot mop and vacuum. It comes with two washable mop pads, a spare filter and a cleaning tool. The reservoir is easy to fill and has a good seal on it, and the dustbin is likewise easy to empty. It never has any trouble finding its dock at the end of a job, and it hasnât gotten stuck yet. Iâm happy with it and would recommend.

The setup for this was mercifully easy, though I will mention since it didn’t indicate it anywhere readily that I saw: It is a 2.4G WIFI only device. If your provider for internet has equipment that only shows you a unified network (rather than 2.4 and 5 separately), see later on for how to deal with that, if you’re encountering connection issues. So, I only tested its vacuum functionality on hardwood and a thin throw rug/carpet. I did see some interesting quirks with it, namely that it does have an accentuated aversion to edges, even after finishing its mapping process. I didn’t see it come close enough to finish the edges during my time actively watching for about 15 minutes. However, the mapping process itself is efficient and relatively intuitive – though I would say it would be nice if you could manually delete regions from the map (I made the mistake of having some doors open to rooms that shouldn’t be in the plan, but it still shows those as regions. Being fair, it doesn’t go for them). With that said, the exclusion zone wasn’t too hard to add, though it’s only in a square/rectangle shape, and can’t be placed too close to the base station for obvious reasons. It handles going under and around furniture quite well, (see video clip). I did not use the mop mode, having little reason for it, but by the time it had finished its pass of the first zone it had mapped, all of my dog’s fluff was gone. It’s definitely a fairly slow job to do the cleaning, but of course that is the sacrifice made to have the cleaning be automatic. Now, some tips for use so as not to repeat some of my mistakes:1. MAKE SURE THE AC ADAPTER IS WOUND UP. I forgot about it, being my habit to just plug things in, and so a bunch of it was left on the ground near its base station. Lucky being what it is, it managed to almost cannibalize it xD you want to be careful with cables. Being fair, that’s my error – it does warn in the instructions to make sure cables aren’t left about willy-nilly. Nylon ties are your friend, or just a twist-tie.2. It will go up edges with relatively dauntless lack of fear, so it’s a good idea before you run it for the first time to try and set up some cardboard or something (borrow it from your amazon package) to corral it into the areas you want while it formulates its map. Ie, there’s a TV stand with all our cables and stuff left on it, and it was not a steep enough ledge to stop this thing from doggedly advancing on it. If you block it in its first run without ordering a recalibration of its map, it’ll remember that – so for easy, unmonitored mapping, consider putting a temporary barrier in place on such items to prevent it. It won’t go into them thereafter.3. Band-steering/No visible 2.4G network? The trick here is that your network will still *have* these frequencies, but the initial handshake with a 2.4G only device can be very confusing for such modems/routers (ie: Rogers’ Ignite gateways in Canada) since they don’t have quite enough metadata at first to make a confident determination. The easy and fast way to do this is go into the router console or whatever configuration utility you use, and turn off the radios for 5G,6G, whatever else that isn’t 2.4G. This resolves the ambiguity without having to create new network names or turn this feature off. Once you’ve made your connection successfully, feel free to turn those radios back on – it just needs it for the first time, so it can make a proper handshake. If you see a network, but it constantly rejects what should be the correct password – double check that your security mode is set to WPA2 (some newer equipment supports WPA3, but this is basically using a different cipher system, so regardless of the right password, equipment not able to understand it can’t connect – WPA2 is still in extremely widespread use and basically the ‘default’ anything should work with. Note this does have security implications in absolute terms, but if you’re not too worried about the van outside, in realistic terms, it doesn’t matter.Anyway, I like this thing! First time with a robotic vacuum and it was a much less painful process than I expected it would be. Spares having to do nightly vacuuming to handle my dog’s plentiful donations of ‘illegal fluff’ when he’s shedding, and that alone is a win in my books!========================== Overall View: [ð] ==== – ð¦ðððð + ==========================Media Used: Some screenshots from the app, video of it navigating during its mapping run (so it is a little more interested in being thorough than immediately extricating itself from ‘trap’ areas). You can see one of my mistakes with that fan cable, xD then… it promptly rushed into the TV stand area too xD My fault.

I have been wanting to get a robotic vacuum for a long time but the price has always been very high. I saw this vacuum and was surprised at what features it has for a very reasonable price so I wanted to give it a try.The vacuum was very easy to set up. All you have to do is push on the side brushes, plug in the dock, and charge the vacuum. There is an app called SMART LIFE which you install on your phone which allows you to control what vacuum remotely. This was very easy to do. The app was available on Google Play. After everything is set up it’s just a matter of starting the vacuum from the app. The first time I did a “smart clean” the vacuum goes around your home mapping the different rooms and obstacles that it needs to avoid. It takes longer to vacuum the first time because of this. After you have vacuumed the first time there are other modes you can select to only vacuum specific areas and rooms.I am very impressed with how well this vacuums. It nicely mapped the rooms and cleaned both the carpet and vinyl floor nicely. It does not just go around randomly but follows a pattern where it vacuums the perimeter first and then goes back and forth on the rest of the floor. The suctions is very strong and it got a lot of dirt off of my floors which I thought were already clean. The mopping feature involves filling the vacuum with water and attaching a mopping pad. It then drags the pad over the floors. I only have one small bathroom that does not have carpet and it cleaned this well.I am very happy with this vacuum. It has a lot of features built into it and having the app to control and monitor the vacuum’s progress is great. It is also very simple to use and would make a great gift.I do recommend this robotic vacuum.

Pros– simple, straightforward set up & initial charging- very painless installation of the app (a necessary step)- easy to understand and execute commands on the app- excellent lidar and edge detection, it never fell down steps or stairs- mapped and vacuumed my 1450 sq ft house in one charge- took less than a minute to return, align and dock for recharging- does an excellent job sweeping under beds and around chair legsCons– a bit noisy- smallish dust bin that will need emptying after every job- exhaust from the vac seems to build & blow about a dust bunny- does like to fight with thin USB type cords – put them up!ConclusionIt is amazing how far and fast technology has come. Today, under $200 will get you a Robo Vac that would have been $1000 when the technology first appeared. Happy to have this machine, it has made several ‘sweeps’ of my house with no issues. My only pre-vac routine is to pull up USB cords and tuck bedskirts out of the way. The small dustbin needs to be emptied every time. I won’t even try the damp mop, it is too small and ineffective. A good machine!
