   Absolute Beast of a Smartphone
   I have never owned a device by Cubot before and honestly hadn’t heard of them. I was initially taken back by the specs given the $300 price tag. For that price you are getting a rugged phone running Android 14, 12gb (plus additional 12gb virtual memory), 512gb onboard storage with a micro sd expansion slot, and a secondary circular screen on the back of the phone!!This phone is fast! I was unsure how well it would perform but I am really surprised. It does have 12gb ram basic (i’m still unsure about the other 12gb virtual memory that takes it to 24gb) so I should have expected it would be super fast. There has been zero lag that I can see.The screen while not having the highest resolution out there looks very good indeed and is plenty sharp. Reading text and watching content is great. The screen does benefit from having 120hz motion and looks buttery smooth. Unfortunately the screen has maximum brightness of 450 nits. That’s fine indoors but you’ll likely struggle outside in bright sunlight. In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has max brightness of 2,600 nits. That phone, however, is 5 or 6 times the price of this so bear that in mind.The design is rugged but a little more refined than I have experienced with other rugged, meant for outdoors smartphones. It is still quite bulky and has a little heft to it but it feels reassuringly well built for it’s intended purposes and I would be less concerned about dropping this versus a standard phone. That being said, It’s not unbreakable, especially with that small secondary screen on the back.That secondary screen is a great idea though it does add a little bulk to the rear of the handset. It basically gives you a smartwatch type face on the screen with notifications. I really like it and wish other phones had features like these nowadays. It’s customizable and I like that the rear cameras are integrated around the bump.This is running the very latest Android 14 and should mean this will stay up to date for another year. I have no idea how many firmware updates this will receive but given when first released it had Android 13 on it, that’s a good indication that it’ll eventually update to 15 and maybe 16 plus receive standard security updates.The cameras on paper look high spec, in reality they are good but they don’t compete with the latest pixel or iPhone cameras. Advertised as having a 100mp rear camera, I find that in certain daylight conditions I can get a pretty good image. Upon enlarging the image that 100mp sensor doesn’t quite live up to the number and there is a little more fuzziness and artifacts than I would have expected. The front facing selfie cam has 32mp which again is very high but I don’t love the images taken. Maybe with more tweaking of the settings I can get it to perform better. For the cameras in general I would give 6.5 out of 10. Again, this phone is under $300 so the 6.5 score is relative.On the downside, this phone is only 4G compatible so you can forget 5G. Not everyone wants the absolute fastest speeds so perhaps 4G is fine for a lot of consumers, especially if you are using WiFi.In general I can’t really fault this rugged phone, in fact for the price this is a lot of tech for your money and has plenty of features and benefits.

   Unique
   This phone is a great value for the price and it really is way tougher and more durable than some of the other popular brands of cell phones that I usually have gotten in the past. This one feels like it’s not going to break if I drop it and I like that it has the dust and water resistance rating as well. The screen that it has on the back of the phone is certainly unique and unlike anything I’ve had or seen before. I use it for changing songs, seeing the time, and other small things that I can conveniently access without opening up the whole phone. Which is kind of similar to the function on a smart watch. I like the multiple cameras that it has and the quality of the photos is pretty good. It has a really long battery life too, I don’t have to even charge it every day even after using it a lot, and it charges up fast! Overall I’m satisfied with the phone and it’s features for the price that I paid and I am hoping that it lasts a long time

   Incredible Phone
   This is the second CUBOT cell phone that I have purchased andI felt very good when I received this phone, it was beautifully packaged and the phone itself was very satisfactory. I turned the phone on to use it and the 6.58inch screen is very large and the screen was very tactile, 100mp pixels produce very clear photos.It has plenty of memory, even when I’m downloading lots of software and taking lots of photos, and it came with latest android operating system, It did not disappoint me, quick not sluggish at all, I just love this phone.

   I bought this Kingkong 9 from them, I would like to give my honest feedback. I believe that phone is worth every penny. It’s rugged and durable. It has a big 10600mAh battery ,which lasts a long time, enough for me to use it for several day, 33w fast charger which is very handy as you don’t even need to charge it very often, So i can proudly say i made the right choice. This phone has wonderful camera i would say its the same quality as the expensive popular brands. It is working very fast and so far it has no bugs. I would recommend it to anyone who ask me.

   This Kingkong 9 mobile phone upgrade is well made and has all the features I need. It has a durable screen, the phone has a rear screen which makes it easy for me to check the time and notifications, the case is very protective and perfect for outdoor work, it runs very fast, with 512GB total memory, I never have to worry about not having enough memory on my phone, the photos are exceptionally clear, there is also a night vision camera which makes taking photos exceptionally clear even at night, it is easy and convenient to operate, and it’s the best android mobile phone I have ever used!

   Preso per mio padre che fa il meccanico e sta rompendo uno smartphone dietro l’altro. Per il lavoro che fa il telefono lo maltratta o lo utilizza con le mani sporche di olii sintetici o grasso. L’ultimo si è rotto proprio perché alla lunga il grasso è penetrato all’interno del tasto con l’interruttore di accensione e da allora il telefono continua a spegnersi ed accendersi da solo. Altro problema per lui sono gli urti, spesso spaccava l’LCD dello smartphone per via di cadute accidentali o colpi/torsioni varie.Alla fine ha capito che gli serviva un telefono diverso e, anche se non era molto per la quale, si è convito a provare un rugged phone. Questo Cubot King Kong 9 lo utilizza da un mese. Per ora tutto bene, ha già fatto qualche “volo” importante ma non ha subito alcun danno (sicuramente i precedenti smartphone si sarebbe quanto meno crepato il vetro).Certo il peso e l’ingombro si fanno sentire, ma non pensate chissà quanto. Più che altro è lo spessore, il doppio di uno smartphone comune. Immaginatevelo un po’ come due smartphone normali uno sopra l’altro. Di contro però questo lo rende molto più resistente e devo dire anche più comodo da utilizzare (la presa con le mani è molto più ergonomica e sicura). Oltretutto dopo qualche giorni ci si fa l’abitudine e non sembra neppure così pesante. In fondo sono comunque solo 380g.Altro aspetto positivo di questo smartphone sono le prestazioni. Una volta i rugged phone erano tutti delle cinesate, con display brutti e prestazioni indecenti. Questo King Kong non è invece per nulla male. Il display è luminoso e nitido, i passaggi da un app all’altra sono fluidi e la memoria di archiviazione è di ben 512GB! Potete decidere se utilizzarlo con due SIM oppure con una SIM e una scheda microSD (uno slot purtroppo è condiviso) ma con così tanta memoria interna ci vorrà un bel po’ di tempo prima che sia necessaria una scheda microSD per estenderla.Due chicche di questo telefono (che non ho mai visto su uno smartphone standard) sono il visore notturno della fotocamera posteriore (si vede perfettamente anche al buio senza accendere la torcia) e lo schermo posteriore (non pensavo ma è utilissimo, ad esempio per farsi i selfie con la videocamera posteriore o per avere un anteprima delle notifiche senza accendere il display).La dotazione è ricca. Lo smartphone comprende il carica batterie, due cavi usb C, auricolari sempre usb C, un vetro di ricambio (uno è già applicato sullo schermo). Peccato non abbia il jack audio da 3,5 mm per le cuffie. Dato lo spessore potevano metterlo. Con le cuffie in dotazione non si riesce infatti ad ascoltare la musica e contemporaneamente caricare lo smartphone.Per concludere un ottimo smartphone per tutti coloro che per lavoro o per necessità hanno bisogno di uno smartphone non dico indistruttibile (perché non lo è) ma un po’ più resistente di quelli standard (che spesso si rompono per un non nulla).

   Le Cubot Kingkong 9 : un smartphone pour les aventuriers de l’extrême !Après plusieurs semaines avec le Cubot Kingkong 9, je peux affirmer qu’il est bien plus qu’un simple smartphone – c’est un véritable compagnon d’aventure ! Dès la prise en main, ce modèle impressionne par sa robustesse. Avec ses certifications IP68/IP69K et MIL-STD-810H, il est paré pour affronter toutes les situations difficiles : que ce soit la poussière d’un chantier, les éclaboussures d’un ruisseau en randonnée, ou même les températures extrêmes, le Kingkong 9 tient bon.Sous le capot, on retrouve 24 Go de RAM et 512 Go de stockage – c’est énorme ! Cette capacité me permet de stocker toutes mes photos, vidéos et applications sans jamais ressentir de ralentissement. Et en parlant de photos, la caméra de 100 MP est tout simplement impressionnante. Elle capture chaque détail, même dans des environnements mal éclairés, et la vision nocturne de 24 MP est une vraie surprise pour un smartphone de ce type. Fini les photos floues en soirée !

   Se trata de uno de esos móviles que, por su aspecto, parece que podría sobrevivir una caída desde una terraza (y probablemente lo haría). Lo probé en varias situaciones cotidianas y un par de “aventuras” más extremas, como en una caminata con lluvia y alguna que otra caída accidental desde la mesa (todo muy científico, claro), y honestamente, aguantó sin inmutarse.Su pantalla FHD+ de 6.58 pulgadas es muy nítida. La frecuencia de actualización de 120Hz se nota especialmente cuando juegas o haces scroll en redes sociales, súper fluida. Para alguien que viene de un móvil con 60Hz, la diferencia es notable.En el día a día, ver videos y fotos es un gustazo. La cámara principal de 100MP capta muchos detalles, aunque en modo nocturno, la cosa es un poco diferente. La cámara de visión nocturna de 24MP es interesante, pero las imágenes no siempre salen comp se esperaba en la oscuridad.El rendimiento es bastante bueno, gracias al procesador MTK G99. No es un tope de gama, pero cumple perfectamente para apps, multitarea y juegos casuales. Además, con 24GB de RAM (OJO porque es una combinación de RAM física y virtual), tienes más que suficiente para ejecutar varias aplicaciones a la vez sin que el móvil se queje.Uno de los puntos que más me gustó es su batería gigante de 10,600 mAh. Literalmente, puedes olvidarte del cargador por dos días. Y cuando lo necesitas, los 33W de carga rápida le ponen de nuevo en marcha en un santiamén. Además, el teléfono te puede salvar la vida en una emergencia, ya que funciona como un powerbank para cargar otros dispositivos!!Un toque curioso y útil es la pequeña mini pantalla de 1.32 pulgadas táctil trasera, que te da acceso rápido a la hora, notificaciones o incluso la cámara. Es como un mini-asistente discreto que no sabías que necesitabas, pero que una vez lo pruebas, te acostumbras.👍PROS:- Batería enorme (10,600 mAh) que dura varios días y sirve como powrbank.- Súper resistente con certificación IP68/IP69K y MIL-STD-810H.- Cámara de 100MP y función de visión nocturna.- Carga rápida de 33W.- Pantalla FHD+ de 120Hz, suave y nítida.- Pantalla táctil trasera para funciones comunes.👎CONTRAS:- La cámara nocturna no siempre impresiona tanto como promete.- Procesador bueno, pero no el más potente para gamers exigentes.- Un poco grande y pesado para quienes prefieren móviles más compactos.Si te gustan los móviles “ruguerizados” que puedas llevar contigo en todo momento sin miedo a que se deteriore y dure horas y horas, éste es una buena opción!

Das wichtigste in der Kurzübersicht.Negativ:- klobig (typisch Outdoor Smartphone mit großem Akku)- kein 5G, nur 4GPositiv:+ 120Hz Display und starke Performance bieten ein flüssiges Bedienungserlebnis+ zweites Display auf der Rückseite ist sehr nützlich+ 100MP Kamera + Nachtsicht+ 12GB physischer + 12GB virtueller RAM ermöglichen starkes Multitasking+ 10600mAh Akku bringt tagelange Laufzeit+ 512GB interner Speicher der sogar erweitert werden kann+ NFC für kabelloses Bezahlen+ schneller Fingerabdrucksensor+ Benachrichtigungs-LED (sowas sieht man heutzutage nur noch super selten)
